Introduction

Artistic Movement

After a millenia in obscurity, the Bossalaus Order sets sail in the ocean of all-media under the leadership of the Lotus Dignitaries. Based in the Pacific Northwest, broadcasting from the advanced networks at Majestic Soundlab in Kennewick,WA, The Bossalaus Movement ventures out to take part in the birth of a new renaissance. Working with a range of artists, the movement is founded in the hip-hop culture but shares influence and inspiration with varied groups, genres and affiliations.

As with most information in this age, localized implementation of high-speed internet access allowed the Lotus leadership to step into a larger world during 2002. Creative contributors are located throughout North America with partnerships in neighboring countries and overseas.

Hip Hop Subculture

Actively participating and promoting NW hip-hop, the independent faction is unaffected by the Seattle influence and does not regard western Washington as a key inspiration. Roots of the movement can be traced to the mid 90's. Vonell from Connell was host to a successful run of car show performances and a DJ business before he started working with Sebastian Select, producer and emcee from Basin City, WA. Across county, 3r1c and Bevon the Muse were busy in the making of what would become Lotus. Even in his youth, J-Factor showed promise as culture power and was recruited by 3r1c. Shortly after the year 2000, producers and personalities: Grizzy Rockstar & Lou Cheese rounded out the leadership among Lotus.

Moving into the 21st century, the leadership sought out comparative minds to collaborate with.

As an accomplished artist, he left his mark on the community and though his rap sessions with Sebastian Select remained secret, he provided leadership and opportunity for each corner of Connell, Washington's own brand of hip-hop.
